Cabinet approves FDI in insurance to 49 per cent

New Delhi: The central government increased from 26 per cent to 49 per cent FDI proposal be approved. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today approved the proposal to increase the FDI limit, while management retained control over the Indians. According to a senior government official in the region, through the Foreign Investment Promotion Board will be allowed to come FDI.
