United Bank of India would not just merge: IDBI Bank

NEW DELHI: Public sector IDBI Bank, said he and his Kolkata-basedUnited Bank of India is not considering a proposal to merge with. The Bank confirms that we are told, yet with IDBI Bank, United Bank of India IDBI board meeting about the merger proposal was not any glaring negotiation by the government in this regard or offer is not found.

In addition, the United Bank of India said in a separate press note that the bank's merger proposal is not a negotiation. The bank said thatthe bank merged with another bank talks about is not running. After reports about the merger of United Bank of India Bombay Stock Exchange share prices rose 8.16 per cent to Rs 53 per cent share of the IDBI Bank at Rs 91.10. Significantly, both of the government in public sector banks and IDBI Bank 76.50 per cent while 89.47 per cent stake in United Bank of India.
